Commitment Ceremonies

Looking for a Brisbane or Gold Coast celebrant to perform a Commitment Ceremony?

I’m Sarah Neil, a mobile celebrant and an interfaith minister offering unique ceremonies to Brisbane, Bayside, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, the Tweed and Gold Coast Hinterlands.

Commitment ceremonies are for people who don’t wish to be married legally – or are unable to be married legally.

If you have found your soul mate, this ceremony is perfect for you, as it give you the opportunity to publicly acknowledge your love for each other

A commitment ceremony is similar to a wedding ceremony, although it is not legally binding. It is a linking of two people by their desire to be with each other, and their choice in each other as life partners. Vows of love and commitment to each other are exchanged amidst family and friends with a Certificate of Commitment issued to you to commemorate your wonderful day of memories.

It is a public affirmation of a couple’s commitment to one another.

Commitment ceremonies are for heterosexual couples who wish to make a commitment to each other, without legal paperwork, or for same-sex couples unable to marry under current Australian law. This ceremony has also been chosen by Pagans wishing for a medieval hand fasting ceremony.

I will work with you to design the perfect ceremony against your chosen backdrop

Meeting times are scheduled for your convenience. It is common for me to meet you after hours, at your home, or at my office. You will receive ongoing phone and email support to answer any questions as they may arise.

We can create a printed booklet for your guests as a memento of the ceremony.

I am happy to conduct ceremonies to suit your ideas, themes and tastes. Commitment Ceremonies should be fun as well as romantic and memorable.

I have my own PA system so all of your guests will hear you clearly and there will be no unforeseen technical hitches.

There is no additional traveling fee for Gold Coast, Tamborine Mountain, Redlands or Ipswich.

I am available to conduct ceremonies SEVEN days a week.
